Pettigrew has formed the nucleus of the Power's defence and the key defender has the flexibility to play on both tall and small forwards. He showed that he added an attacking dimension to his game last season as he ranked equal No.1 at the club in rebound 50s. He also averaged career highs in both disposals and uncontested possessions. Pettigrew moves well for his size and is good in the air ranking second at the club in spoils. Entering his sixth season at the club, Pettigrew has played 76 games and scored 25 goals.
