Motlop carried Port Adelaide's forward-line in 2008 as the exciting forward booted 57 goals for the season - ranked No.1 at the club. It was his most consistent season to date as he scored a goal in all but two of his games to take his career tally to 160 goals. Motlop is a solid mark considering his size and he is also able to score from the most impossible of angles highlighting his skill and natural ability. He was rewarded for his fine year as he finished third in the club's B&F and will bring up his 100th game early in 2009.
