Brogan has been a great servant for Port Adelaide and last year he finally took the mantle as the team's No.1 ruckman. He and Brendon Lade have been one of the most formidable ruck combinations in the AFL for some time now, but both players are nearing the end. Brogan had an outstanding 2008 season averaging career highs in disposals, hitouts and hitouts-to-advantage. He ranked sixth in the AFL in hitouts and finished equal sixth in the Power's B&F.
