Morton, the Larke Medallist at the 2007 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, was happily snapped up by the Demons with pick No.4 in the 2007 NAB AFL Draft. Tall enough to play in a key position, Morton seems suited to a role as a wingman. Possessing foot skills and a running ability that put him in the elite class of youngsters, Morton is a dangerous goalkicker who is best used as an outside player.
