Bode had an encouraging end to 2007 and has been elevated to the Demons' senior list for the 2008 season. An under-18 All-Australian in 2005, Bode spent two seasons on the Melbourne rookie list and was given a taste at senior AFL level late last season. He played the Demons' final four H&A games, averaging eight disposals, and can play either across half-back or through the midfield.
