Johnson was expected to be one of the AFL's big improvers in 2007 but his career stalled, managing just eight games. It was a disappointing return for the defender who played nine games in 2006 and had an impressive pre-season. He failed to string together more than three games in succession last season and with a new coach in 2008 he will be hoping to see some more regular action.
