Sewell's 2006 season went largely unnoticed by the football world, however after winning the Hawks' 2007 B&F he was finally recognised for his ability to shut down one of the opposition's big guns. While he led the Hawks in tackles and stopped a highly-rated opponent each week, he was still able to win plenty of the ball himself and maintain high disposal efficiency levels.
