Brown is a fierce competitor who despite standing at only 177cm, took on some of the competition's most imposing key forwards in 2007. Brown missed only one game all season, with his success most weeks in the tough role resulting in a second placing in the Hawks' B&F. He won less of the ball last season due to the increased responsibility, however still offers some run and rebound from defence for his side.
