Campbell has played every game for the Hawks in the past two seasons sharing the ruck duties in that time with Simon Taylor. Campbell has been one of the AFL's elite ruckmen at finding a teammate with his hitouts. He suffered from a lack of game-time last season as Taylor was given more opportunity, and as a result was the second-most benched player in the AFL.
