Scarlett became an All-Australian member for the third time last season, creating play from full-back for the Cats while also respecting his opponent enough to restrict their scoring. He conceded only 28 goals in 21 matches last season while averaging a career-high 17 disposals and nine handball-receives, and is without doubt one of the AFL's most attacking key defenders.
