Hunt is a small defender who was given extra responsibility in 2007 while still maintaining impressive numbers. After regaining his spot in the Geelong line-up in Round 15 he was responsible for a number of quality opposition forwards, rather than as purely a playmaker from defence which he was previously. The added responsibility didn't affect his numbers as he averaged above 16 disposals for the third season in succession.
