Hasleby was one of the AFL's elite ball-winners in 2003-04, but has failed to reach those levels in the three seasons since. After averaging a career-low 18 disposals in 2006 he bounced back last season to average 23 per game, but failed to have as much impact as earlier in his career. Dominant at the stoppages and also a danger up forward previously, Hasleby's bad run with injuries in recent seasons have seen his clearances and scoreboard impact numbers decrease.
