Daniher, the son of former Sydney and Essendon star Anthony, was taken with pick 39 at the 2007 NAB AFL Draft. He was used as a forward in the TAC Cup last season with eventual premiers Calder Cannons in 2007. He booted 27 goals in his 16 games but struggled with an accuracy of just 57% - the third worst of the competition's top 15 goalkickers. Daniher already has a good sized body for the rigours of AFL but may need time to develop his game in the VFL.
