Dyson is a left footer whose name was bandied around during trade week with no deal eventuating. He has played 49 games for Essendon in the last four seasons averaging 12 disposals per game. He has never been a big ball winner, as he has had 20 or more disposals in only two games so far in his career. After playing 17 games in the 2006 season it looked like he was on the cusp of regular senior selection, however he took somewhat of a backward step last season as he failed to string more than four games in a row together last season.
