Holland has failed to reproduce the form that saw him finish second in Collingwood's 2005 B&F. He played 17 games in 2006 and just seven last season missing games through suspension at the start of the season and injuries towards the end. Holland was also given the captaincy for one game last season because of injuries to other team leaders. The Magpies will be hoping Holland can avoid injuries and suspensions in 2008 and provide some much needed on-field leadership.
