Lonie's season was ruined by osteitis pubis last season as he managed just four games. He played Round 1 but missed the next 15 weeks before returning for a three week stint starting in Round 16. When he did play he continued to show his ball winning abilities averaging 19 disposals and 15 uncontested possessions in his four appearances. He will be a huge addition to Collingwood's 2008 side if he can stay fit across the entire season.
