Scotland has become an elite ball winner in the past two seasons winning the third most H&A disposals in the competition during that time. He finished second in Carlton's 2007 B&F count finishing with the most disposals, kicks and uncontested possessions. Scotland also covered plenty of territory last season as his 182 inside 50s and rebound 50s combined ranked third in the competition. With the return of Nick Stevens and the arrival of Chris Judd, Scotland will have plenty of experience surrounding him in the midfield, something that was lacking in 2007.
