Stevens, who was runner up in Carlton's B&F count in 2004 and 2005, played only three games in 2007 before a neck injury ended his season prematurely. He showed early on in the season how damaging he could be as he won his second Michael Tuck medal for a best on ground performance in the NAB Cup grand final. Stevens will return to the side in 2008 and will form a formidable trio with Heath Scotland and Chris Judd in the Blues midfield.
