Jacobs was the first player taken at the 2006 Rookie Draft and is a ruckman who represented SA at the 2006 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships. He played 13 games for the Northern Bullants last season, booting seven gaols but being named in the best just once. As is the case with other young ruckman, expect Carlton to give Jacobs plenty of time to develop.
