Pfeiffer was one of the best players at the 2005 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships winning All-Australian selection averaging 17 disposals and five marks per game. He spent two seasons on Adelaide's senior list but failed to play a game. He is best used as a defender who can run off his opponents and win a lot of ball.
