Judd's move to Carlton was perhaps one of the biggest football stories over the off-season. In his six years at the Eagles he won a Brownlow medal, a Norm Smith Medal, a Leigh Matthews trophy (for the MVP as voted by the AFLPA), captained a Premiership side and won two club B&F's. He was leading the 2007 Brownlow Medal count halfway through last season but his second half of the season was hampered by injuries eventually finishing equal 11th.
