Notting finished third in Brisbane's 2007 B&F count after averaging a career-high 21 disposals, six marks, five inside 50s, 16 uncontested possessions and five contested possessions per game. He spent much more time in the midfield than previous seasons and led the club for inside 50s and long kicks. His 16 goals was also the most of any of the Lions midfielders and his 25 score assists was the fifth most at the club. Notting is due to play his 200th game in Round 22, 2008 - if he can stay fit the entire season.
