Tippett has been retained on the Lions rookie list for season 2008 after playing 18 games for the Suncoast Lions last season. He is a young developing ruckman who averaged eight disposals, two marks and 14 hitouts in the AFLQ competition. Tippett had played just one season of junior football before being selected by the Lions so he is definitely a project player who will be given plenty of time to develop.
