Hanley joins fellow Irishman, Colm Begley, as an international rookie on the Lions list. Like many of his fellow countrymen his greatest asset is his speed and he arrived at the club without a single game of Australian Rules football experience under his belt. At 18 years of age, Hanley will be given plenty of time to learn the game and may not be sighted for another couple of seasons yet.
