Corrie was delisted by the Lions after the 2006 season but was thrown a lifeline via the 2006 Rookie Draft. He played just two AFL games in 2007 and another three for the Suncoast Lions in the AFLQ but obviously impressed enough to earn a spot on the senior list for 2008. His return game in Round 21 last season was one of the best of his career as he picked up a career-high 23 disposals playing mainly through the midfield.
