The dual Brownlow medallist had an interesting 2007 where he really struggled early on. From Rounds 1-8, Goodes failed to win more than 20 disposals in a match, averaging just 14 in that time. It then clicked for the Sydney champion averaging 21 disposals per game from Rounds 9-16 and 26 disposals and 10 marks in his final seven games. Goodes has shown he can play everywhere, originally starting his career as a ruckman, but now a midfielder who reads the play better than anyone and who can win the ball in tight or in space.
