Meredith, pick No.26 in the 2007 NAB AFL Draft, is a dangerous outside midfielder who averaged 29 disposals, 13 handball-receives and six inside 50s from Round 15 onwards in last seasons TAC Cup competition. In that time he showed in that competition that he can use the ball effectively and be dangerous around goal. In the last six games he was a multiple goalkicker in four of those six games and also averaged three goal assists in that time, the most of anyone in the TAC Cup.
