Jolly has proven to be a more than handy ruckman at the stoppages and in the forward-line. He booted a career high 16 goals in 2007 - ranked third of the AFL ruckmen. Jolly was one of the best performed ruckmen in the first half of last season. Up until Round 11, Jolly had won the second-most hitouts in the competition and had booted nine goals - the equal second-most of any ruckman.
