Braun became the first non-West Australian to play 200 games for West Coast playing in all 24 games last season. He has averaged at least 20 disposals in each of the last three seasons and won the second most disposals at West Coast in 2007. He was runner-up in the 1999 B&F award and won the award for best clubman in 2003. He also won the Ross Glendenning medal for being judged best on ground in the Round 3 derby against Fremantle last season.
