Including season 2008, Wilkes has been on West Coast's rookie list for an unprecedented four seasons. He has had an injury plagued career to date but finally had a full season in 2007 when he played 20 games for Claremont in the WAFL. Wilkes is a tall key defender who will be desperate to see some action in the 2008 season in the hopes of securing his spot on a senior list in 2009.
