Waters played 20 games last season playing a career-high of 97 minutes per game as well as averaging a career-high of 21 disposals. He was matched up on the opposition's best small forwards most weeks getting the job on the likes of Steve Johnson, Kayne Pettifer, Adam Schneider and Chad Cornes. He is a tough as nails defender but also added plenty of run to his game last season winning 16 uncontested possessions per game.
