Seaby played all 24 games last season and as the back-up ruckman was the most benched player in the side. He is a handy back-up ruckman as he has the ability to push forward. His 20 goals for the season were the second-most of any AFL ruckman and his average of 10 disposals per game was a career-high. Seaby would walk straight into the No.1 ruck role at most other clubs but with the No.1 ruckman of the competition being teammate Dean Cox, Seaby will continue to be the second choice ruckman for the Eagles in 2008.
