Welsh will finish his career at the Bulldogs, his third AFL club after beginning at the Kangaroos and then spending eight seasons at Adelaide. He played almost a lone hand up forward for the Crows in 2007 as their leading goalkicker and the most accurate of the AFL's top 20 goalkickers. He is a difficult height to match up on as he is strong in the air and on the ground and should be a handy acquisition for the Bulldogs.
