Higgins is an exciting young player has shown plenty of promise in his two seasons at the Bulldogs. A dominant midfielder at under-18 level, Higgins has been used mainly as a forward in his AFL career to date, averaging more than a goal and an assist per game. He was the club's third-highest goalkicker last season and was also their most accurate in front of goals. Once his fitness levels increase he should start to spend more time up the ground, but remains a danger when close to goal.
