In an extraordinary twist, King was traded to St Kilda after being a controversial inclusion for Geelong's Grand Final victory over Port Adelaide. His game time has steadily dropped since 2003, playing just 53% of available time last season. He looked fit in the Grand Final, however history says that you cannot trust his body. King provides St Kilda with another ruck option after the retirement of Matthew Clarke.
