More was expected of Armitage in his first season at St Kilda. The inside midfielder played just three AFL games and totalled 20 disposals. His VFL form was impressive however, kicking 16 goals in 17 games and being named in Casey's best players on seven occasions. As a top 10 pick in the 2006 NAB AFL Draft, expect more senior action for Armitage in 2008.
