Eddy has another year on St Kilda's rookie-list after playing 19 games for the Casey Scorpions last season. He was named in the best on five occasions, playing mainly out of defence. He proved to be an elite ball winner at junior level, winning 27 disposals per game for Gippsland in the 2006 TAC Cup, but his kicking was known to let him down.
