Milne was the best small forward in the competition in 2005 kicking 61 goals, however since then he has kicked just 29 and 32 goals in each of the seasons. In 2007 he played more up the ground where he averaged 12 disposals and two inside 50s per game. Since kicking a bag of 11 goals against Brisbane in Round 22, 2005, Milne kicked more than three goals in a game.
