Connors could end up one of the bargains of the 2006 NAB AFL Draft from the little bit of AFL action we saw last year. He averaged 77 minutes in four games at an average of 14 disposals. He played a blinder in his second game against an awesome Geelong outfit, picking up 25 disposals, seven marks and five hardball-gets. Connors is an exciting talent highlighted by his mark in the VFL last year against North Ballarat that won him the mark of the year. He can play in the midfield or across half-back.
