Oakley-Nicholls, a top-10 pick at the 2005 NAB AFL Draft, has played just seven games at AFL level. In 2007 he had an injury interrupted pre-season playing just three games between Rounds 5-7. At VFL level he made 18 appearances for Coburg where he was named in the best on only four occasions.
