Deledio played most of 2007 as a defender/midfielder, however it was late in the season as a forward/midfielder where he had the most success. He kicked 11 goals in the last month which included a bag of five against Collingwood in Round 19. He can win his own footy and is just as handy in the air as he is at ground-level. Approaching his fourth season, Tiger supporters will be expecting big things in 2008. As the No.1 pick of the 2004 NAB AFL Draft he has played 62 of a possible 66 games - the second-most of any player from that draft.
