For the third season in a row Pettifer played every game and kicked 30-plus goals. After a slow start to his career Pettifer has established himself as a genuine top-line half-forward. In 2007 he averaged more goals than ever and also more assists than ever. As a result he ranked second at the club in scoreboard impact behind Matthew Richardson. He finished sixth in the club's B&F backing up his fifth placing in 2006.
