Tuck was drafted late in the 2003 NAB AFL Draft and struggled in his first season of 2004 playing just three games. However, since the arrival of Terry Wallace he and Kayne Pettifer are the only two Tigers to play all 66 games. In 2007, despite being the most benched player at Richmond, he won the third-most disposals at Richmond along with the second-most handballs and contested possessions, and topped the club's clearances table. Tuck hasn't had a problem in finding the footy so far in his career, however his kicking has let him down and in 2007 is was rated poor hitting the target 66% of the time.
