Wilson is Port Adelaide's second oldest player and one of only four players remaining from its inaugural 1997 squad. His 2007 ended in shattering fashion rupturing his achilles tendon in the preliminary final against the Kangaroos. His career looks to be played out as a tagger after tagging the likes of Shannon Grant, Scott Burns and Luke Power last season.
