Motlop produced his best season in 2007 booting the second-most goals at the club with a career-high of 44 and averaging more than two goals per game for the first time in his career. His future looks certain to be spent close to goal winning over half of his possessions inside 50 last season. At 26 years of age, the challenge for Motlop is to back it up. Despite being a massive talent, he has produced only two good AFL seasons in seven - 2004 and 2007.
