Campbell came off the rookie list to impress in his stint as a small forward in 2007, playing 13 games for the Kangaroos. He scored only 10 goals for the season, but it was his defensive pressure that stood out, often creating extra opportunities for the Kangaroos forwards with his tackling. He has been elevated to the senior list for 2008 and should improve his contribution to the scoreboard if he's getting a game.
