Firrito stands only 190cm, yet held down the full-back position at the Kangaroos last year. While he conceded the most goals in the competition, it was a fair effort considering he was undersized most weeks. Similar to Sydney's Leo Barry, Firrito provided plenty of rebound for his side, often dashing off his man to create forward thrusts. After starting his career in the midfield as a tagger, Firrito's future looks certain to be spent deep in defence.
