Jones had a career-best season in 2007 as he stayed closer to goal, scoring a career-best 46 goals. Strong in the air yet equally adept at ground level, Jones caused headaches for opposition sides up until Round 17 before managing only five goals in his final six games before injury ended his season. Not only a goalkicker, Jones often sets up teammates in scoring positions and also applies plenty of pressure when not in possession.
