Petrie is another Kangaroo who has been used at both ends of the ground in recent seasons. After impressing in defence towards the end of 2006 he was moved back forward for most of 2007 where his marking was again a feature of his game. He scored a career-high 38 goals last season at a high accuracy, including six in the opening quarter in Round 13. He has hardly missed a game for the past five years and may find himself swapping between forward and back for the 2008 season.
