Edwards played every game last season and has not missed a match since Round 10, 2006 - playing 20 or more games in every season since 1999. He averaged over 20 disposals for the fourth season in succession, but his impact dropped slightly around the ground as he averaged fewer contested possessions, clearances, tackles and inside 50s than his previous season. He enters the 2009 season as the second oldest player on the Crows list needing 11 games to reach the 300-game milestone.
